The year gone by and the 2.0 road ahead

Y2K7 is almost gone (probably by the time I finish writing this article it would have already gone by) and I’m feeling a little nostalgic thinking about all the events that happened in 2007)

Yeah, I graduated back in 2007. Did my bachelors in CSE. That’s a big thing, keeping in mind the fact, that I always just managed to move on to the next year in college. I was one amongst a bunch of us back-benchers. I still remember one of the Professors, VLSI design class, scolding my friend something like “you are criminal.get out of the class”. Okay, it was more hillarious for all of us than been embarassed about :)

Then came our Lohri celebration, followed a month later by our farewell. Great times really. All those days, sitting with all the friends, discussing what we would be 10 years down the road. Sitting at the RD (the tea stall that comes free with every engineering college),  taking the place of the Prime Minister or the Chief of state and doing away with all the problems in a moment…all the energy, all the desperation/want to do things (and a lot of things to be exact), all the passion about doing things/anything. All the brainstorming sessions (we called it BC back then, now we realize the importance), all the small little arguments about the even smaller little things.

A lot happened. A lot of good things, and some bad. A learning point all in all. “you loose, you learn :)”, as Alanis Morisette said

And talk of entrepreneurship (technopreneurship - 2.0), a friend of mine recently showed me this video. It’s THE-GO-GET-FACTOR for all the budding entrepreneurs in the consumer intenet market. It’s a teaser…do have a look at it
