Mithun da - the dialogue factory 4

Yes, we all have watched his movies (and applauded some); tried to imitate his stunts and dialogues in childhood; witnessed a lot of new-age viral-campaigns involving him; and definitely love him for at least his dialogues if not for his acting (no offense to any Mithun Da’s fan reading this please).

Just came across this e-mail (forward you see are not all worthless after all (smiles) ), and really perked my day up for sure. So, here it goes, a small (yes definitely small !) list of dialogues sorted according to their rating, by the janta (good use of web-2.0 though !).

  • ” Bheegi hui cigarette kabhi jal nahi sakti…..aur yeh tay hai ki teri maut ki taarikh tal nahi sakti”
  • Mantriji:- “Ye kanch bullretproof hai. tum mujhe chu bhi nahi sakte”
Mithun Da:-”Ye kanch bulletproof hai magar patthhar proof nahi”
(and he breaks it by throwing stones on the glass)
  • “Apuun ka naam hai HEERA,
    Apuun ne sab ko Cheera…”
  • shetty: “kaun hai be tu?”
Mithun da says-”Mai hoon tum jaise logon se nafarat karne wala,
Garibon ke liye jyoti, Gundon ke liye jwala
tuze banake maut ka Ek niwala,
tere sine mein gaad dunga mai maut ka bhala.
Mila doonga yamraj se tere ko salaaaa.”
  • ” kyunki ab mein Indrajeet nahi……chandaal hoon
tum chaho toh mera program note karlo
…tum sab meri diary mein mar chuke ho!
mein chahoo toh tum sabko abhi mar sakta hoon
magar abhi maarne se tumhe maarne ka credit meri bullet ko mil jayega!!!! “
  • ” Main hoon Do Numbri, ek se jyaada, teen se kam
Dikhne mein bevda, bhaagne mein ghoda, aur maarne mein hathoda …. “
  • ” Jitani tumane saanse li hongi, usase jyaada maine lashein girayi hai “

and yes, the crowd favorite (and my all-timer too :)) still remains,

Mithun da gets a bullet on his leg, Looks at the villain scornfully, calmly stands up and says-
“DUSHMANO KI LAASHON PAR BHANGRA KARNE WALA KABHI LANGDA NAHIN HO SAKTA”

P.S - If you cannot see the pun intended, then you ain’t a Mithun Da’s true devotee, and even if you have read this earlier somewhere, do not claim so, it will be hazardous :) to your profile.

Megadeth in Bangalore, India. Take the Rock bus this time around 0

megadeth in India

Yeah people, you got it right!! Another of those great times in India. And this time it’s big. Really Big. And unfortunately, I ain’t attending it this time around. I just wish I could have had attended it this time around. Huh :(

For a little bit of details, this time it’s not just another rock concert. It’s a “Road 2 Rock” people !!, and it just can’t get bigger. Rockers unite, huddle up in a bus, rock all day and night, all along the journey from Pune to Bangalore. Awesome I say. Really great !!

And who all are performing you say. I say it features Megadeth, Machine Head, Pentagram, JunkYard Groove, and a whole lot of other Indian Rock bands (our own guys next door, you see)

More details can be found on the official Megadeth homepage , which finally leads you to the Road 2 Rock page. So go check the Road 2 Rock homepage directly itself

Rest Laterrs !

Off to Scorpions at Bangalore.. 2

scorpions at India

Finally, the day when I can do away with all my wrong doings (missing the Aerosmith concert earlier this year :p).

The last time that I was in a rock concert was similarly in december last year, the Deep Purple….you know the smoke was really on water that day :) I just hope they live upto their expectations (I have tons…. "Rhythm of love - Scorpions acoustica..live at Lisboa" play that one more time guys)

The last time Scorpions played in India was .. I don't remember …maybe these guys never played in India ever before. But whatever, I hope there is tons of crowd to cheer these guys all the way, and hope it turns out great. The only problem that the Deep Purple concert, that I talked about earlier, had was of the crowd. There were not more than 2000-2500 guys that time, and seriously that's a big issue. How can we expect these legends to play with all their energy when all they get is a mediocre 3000 rock lovers witnessing their concert. Try looking at some other bigger concerts, and it's easy to see where India just lags behind.

The surprise element this time is the inclusion of Shillong in the tour (I wonder when will Delhi be included in such tours .. alas .. only after these politicians go to someplace else, till that time delihites remain void of quality rock .. let bhangra rule !!)

Anyways, I just hope that there is a huge fan following for Scorpions in India and that people turn out in huge numbers.

And BTW, the tickets are cheaper this time around. I got one for 1000 bucks. Check out the tickets at bookmyshow.

If you are coming for the concert too, then do let me know. It's always to get together and level up with a rock fan

Cheers !

:)
