I – Me – Myself

While it might not be visible to a lot of people on the internet, but my being from an an e-commerce background I can’t help but think how cafegadgets.com is ruining the whole e-commerce experience of Indian internet users. The fact that the number of Indian internet users is increasing everyday, and more people are [...]

Well, it doesn’t really make much of a difference, since slicehost (after being acquired by Rackspace) is a part of Rackspace, and I could feel it instantly why everything in the rackspace cloud looks / behaves similar to slicehost..huh! Why I moved is probably just because of the monthly charges that I had to face [...]

Not getting enough presents ? Why not just gift something to yourself. I’ve been following the same principle for the last 2 years, and while last year I gifted myself a cool little iPhone art from Infectious, this year I bought a bunch of designer t-shirts from Inkfruit.com. See, the best part about all this, [...]

I probably shouldn’t be writing this, being an ex-picsquare guy ;), but I just have to show some love..baby ! I’ve always wanted to buy some awesome designer tees, and have frankly tried threadless, but the shipping charges just blew me away. After about a year and 6 months at picsquare.com, I finally decide to move on. It had been a great experience working with all the folks there, and a tremendous gain in knowledge..not just from a technical perspective, but even from the business side of things in a startup (specially e-commerce). Right now, it will [...]

Ok. My new year gift to myself. A brand new infectious art for my iPhone. Aahh…it’s a stunner of a design art. You should go out and check some cool art for your iPhone, laptops, cars or maybe even your office / home walls. And if you need a neat 10% off your purchase, then [...]

Timesofblogs.com is a premium domain if you are looking to do anything for the blogging world in the blogging world :) . I initially wanted to set up an online blogging magazine, on the lines of some great magazines like ALA, SM, etc. But due to the time constraints, I’m unable to give in much effort in this project right now. Anyone willing to do this, can go ahead. This is a really lucrative area right now, with wordpress openly saying that it is registering at least a million blogs every month. So obviously, anything aimed at that large crowd will gain traction pretty quickly.

This just in from a friend of mine. You will absolutely love the cartoon, and hopefully be able to associate with what the story is with service providers in India. Just for a little background, my friend works in a very renowned and sort after business-analytics company (forbidden to name here), and he made this cartoon out of the funny (or frustrating) scene while he was working for a renowned client (I bet it is as renowned as a 4-year NRI kid to know :) ). The lady that you see in the picture was the client’s representative and the poor guys you see all over, were my friend and his colleagues. My friend aptly titled the cartoon as “SALES FAKECASTING”

There are only two ways to market your product. Either you build a product that is so brilliant that it PULLS the customers; or you build a strategy to PUSH your product to the masses.
