So what’s the point of having the term “Wannabe Entrepreneur” ?? Does it not fall into the category of not being an entrepreneur ??
Met a few guys the other day, and they introduced themselves as “Wannabe Entrepreneurs”. Well, even I used to use this fancy term till a few months back, and then I realized that it really doesn’t make a difference whether you are a “wannabe” or the accomplished one. My understanding is that, this term – “wannabe entrepreneur” – is mostly used by people who are afraid; afraid of failure, afraid of letting the world know that they are doing something in the wild, and afraid of the fact that it might be embarrassing if they fail.
I think, till the time one has the guts to declare openly that he is an entrepreneur, he really is not. All these fancy terms really don’t matter, especially to those who understand.
So, leave the tag of “wannabe” behind, and jump in to the entrepreneurship bandwagon. It feels good.
Entrepreneurship is living a few years of your life like most people won’t, so that you can spend the rest of your life like most people can’t
