It's that time of the year again when people often bug you with the same old and silly question .. "What are your new year's resolution??". And as always, I seem to go in a never-ending thought process as to what it is that I really resolve to do this coming new year. It seems I get stuck in an infinite loop. I happened to press CTRL+C this time around.
And I have come up with a list of things that I need to do this year. Ummm..my resolutions..
- "Slog more and Blog much more" — this one's actually inspired by Gaurav Bhatnagar's original "Blog less, Slog more" motto.
- Learn as much as possible about SEO/SEM, and the internet advertising industry.
- Complete my Typo theme asap, and hack out some major ruby code to incorporate some changes in Typo.
- Write a series of articles on customizing and theming Typo for your own needs. This is primarily out of the frustation that I have gone through because of virtually no documentation for Typo and also the fact that there are not many blogs out there running on the Typo blogging engine. So maybe it my help somebody going for a complete customization of Typo (or better still, building your own blogging system, starting from Typo as the base)
- Get up and start thinking more like an Entrepreneur. Write down the formal business plan.
- Sleep less (not the current 8 hours)
- Work productively. Work smartly.
- On a personal note – stay away from girls as much as possible. No I don't wanna sound like a misogynist, but it's just a personal opinion and it is based on the series of incidents that I have had throughout my life with girls (some pun intended).
That's pretty much for all the resolutions that I could think and write about. There are just so many things that I have to do, it seems it will take me to eternity to blog about all.
