Hi... I represent Inkfruit.com and I just came across this blog post...

Firstly, I am sorry you faced this issue. All are t-shirts do go through a detailed QC check but sometimes one odd piece could have a defect (1 in a 1000 pieces).

As an e commerce company and a start up, gaining the trust of all our customers, is of utmost importance to us. We do have a 100% return policy when it comes to such issues.

All that anyone who faces such an issue has to do is:
Drop a mail to our customer care team ie soniya@inkfruit.com >> ship the t-shirt across to our office>> we will ship across a replacement!

Cheers

Hey Kunal,

Thanks for the inputs...and as I see it now I definitely didn't check for the instructions :D ...but I guess I didn't do anything special also...just the same old way of washing clothes..myself. As I check the instructions now, I see I didn't do anything that was not supposed to be done ;)

hey,
we are in a business of making high quality customized apparels and merchandise for customers across the country (Whimsia Custom Works).

So i read your question and thought of sharing with you some inputs on the t-shirt fading thingie...

Did you follow the wash care instructions that were given in the t-shirt (i myself hardly do that :-) )? Usually, almost all colored garments have a minimal color fading in the first 1 or 2 washes. This happens no matter what quality or fabric you purchase. But in the high quality ones the fading is minuscule and you can never notice it and it will never damage any other garment.

The problem that you faced, could have happened for any of the following reasons:
    - sometimes the dyeing process has some discrepancies or flaws because of which some pieces have uneven dyeing, resulting in excessive fading
   - the dyeing process was completely not of good quality, hence it may not be a quality product in the first place
   - the dyes used were not of good quality dyeing and the post processing was not done properly to ensure color fastness

I hope this helps explain the doubts that you had in your mind and you may be a more informed customer from now on :-)

happy shopping to you!
